Last week in the St. Croix Falls Rotary Club, we acknowledged the 16 Students of the Month from St. Croix Falls and Osceola High Schools for 2009 and 2010. Each student is known for their extraordinary success in school and was recognized by the Rotary Club as a leader. At the end of the meeting, 2 students received a $100 scholarship from the St. Croix Falls Rotary Club.

Today I will be interviewing Rushton Hurley and talking about Rotary Club going digital. Rushton is the Internet Communications Chair, 2009-2010 – Rotary e-Club of the Southwest USA. In April 2010, Rotary International officially recognized e-clubs as an officially sanctioned part of Rotary for both membership and make ups.

A little more about Rushton Hurley

Rushton was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in 1991 in Perth Australia. His Grandfather was a charter member of the Rotary Club of Magnolia Arkansas. Rushton joined the Rotary Club of San Antonio Down in 1994 and later joined the Rotary e-club after when circumstances made it difficult to continue to a regularly scheduled Rotary Club meeting.
